This was the FIRST time also that Char hadn't immediately gone looking for her friends. She would if they didn't come find her (but they SO WOULD right?). She had things to do anyway, like a LIST. She was working on a LIST. Notebook in her lap, fluffy feather quill busily writing, Charlotte's tongue poked out in concentration.
The list had to be perrrfect!
It was an odd goodbye, to say the least. The fact that Aled, Dalt's only proper 'you know everything about me' friend, wouldn't be living with him next Summer. And sure, his new...
lodgings, for want of a better term, were only around the corner, but that wasn't the same as sharing a room, was it? Of course, the fifteen year old didn't
show that emotion with more than a few shrugs, but obviously his friend knew.
That was why he was his best friend, after all. After the parting at Kings Cross entrance, Dalton clamber onto the train, alone, as usual. He really wasn't in the mood to see anyone he knew, and figured that taking a compartment with someone he
didn't was a good idea. That way, he could hide slightly, right?
Edging the door open of one whose occupant seemed already preoccupied, he leaned against the frame slightly. "May I?" Cue indication of the seats with his head.
