There was no doubt in Dot's mind that Maddie could rule the entire world if she put her mind to it. If that was how her mate wanted to spend the term, then Dot would do whatever was needed to make world ruling possible. That's what friends were for, right?
"Good. You take on that, and I'll be responsible for taking care of our NEWTs. I'll make study schedules for all of us, and I'll work in some fun time. Occasionally." She tugged her hair over one shoulder and studied Maddie from under her eyelashes. "Not yet. I'm taking my time."
