Archer HAD noticed the increased desire for ice cream. He just thought it was due to her female things. But apparently not. Right. Okay. He nodded, deciding he might just have to stock up their tent with different ice cream flavours.
"Thanks ladies," he said to Lana and Lisabel as they apparated to get a test. He had no idea what the test was going to involve but... apparently the women did.
"Are you feeling okay?" he asked Gabby, turning to her. "Are you worried about it not being... not..." He didn't know what to get out. "Are you worried it might be like it was last time?" he finally got out. He didn't want her to worry. "Did you take a... a test the previous time?" He leaned over to plant a kiss on the side of her head. "I love you Gabby. We're in it together. Whatever it shows. Although.." he grinned "I really do want to be a father."
Lisabel arrived at the house with Lana, and she followed her to where she needed, keeping her distance to allow Lana some privacy if she needed to dig in some bathroom drawers. "Well this will be exciting if it's positive," she said, although she did have her misgivings. They'd been together a year, and they had appeared never to have had a discussion about whether they wanted children or not. She never thought of Archer as having children, but the look on his face suggested otherwise.
