Archer was frowning slightly. This was not going the way they had hoped.
But he could sense something... deep down... wasn't... okay. But obviously whatever that was wasn't going to come out whilst he was there, and Gabby didn't want him to leave. And if Gabby didn't want him to leave, he wasn't about to. But, really... what could he do?
She was glad they were happy, but she wasn't happy for them. It just didn't make sense, but there was something there.
He just felt so out of his depth.
"We're actually moving into my house. Down in... London. More of a permanent residence. You should.. come over for dinner one night. See the place. If you want to, that is." He wasn't about to force her into it, but he was surprisingly finding himself hoping she would say yes. If she said no then... this man really had no idea what to say.
