The entrance to the Gryffindor Common Room is guarded by the very famous and very vocal portrait of one large woman, affectionately known to all as the Fat Lady. To gain entrance to the lions' common room, simply tell her the password and she should swing forward to reveal the round hole through which Gryffindors climb into their tower. If you AREN'T a Gryffindor, though, and you try to get in anyway... be warned that Ms. Fat Lady might make a fuss about your sneaking around. She probably wouldn't mind your waiting on a friend outside here, but she will try to get some juicy gossip out of ya.
