Haddie had come to terms with the fact that she wasn't going to be returning to Hogwarts (don't worry she is), but he kinda sprung the complete ban on all things wizarding world on her when she got home and naturally she refused to give up her friends.
So she's on house arrest until she complete moves on and doesn't try to contact her friends.
