Meredith grinned as she heard the purring sound that he made as she had kissed him. His hand was still on her waist as she stood there in front of him still blushing wildly. “Why thank you, I have to agree it is quite nice indeed,” she grinned up at him as she raised her hand and ran it over his cheek.
“Gallowglass” she muttered softly and chewed her lip lightly as she raised her hand and ran it against his cheek. “Y-you kissed me?” She flushed before stammering out “I wasn’t expecting that…” she was basically sputtering things out as she stood there. “I…I kissed you” she finally muttered and glanced back up at him. “Why did you kiss me?” She asked her heart still hammering as she stood there in front of him wanting more than anything to know what it was that made him want to kiss her? It was probably the whole her kissing his cheek thing…but maybe it was more?
Maybe he actually liked her? But maybe he didn’t? She wasn’t sure about what was going on really but that was most likely her nerves kicking in making her replay the moment? "I...is it that you like me? B-because I well, I like you too" she was flustered as she spoke to him admitting the little secret that she had kept for quite a bit of time now.
