Hopefully his father wouldn't detect that anything was wrong, but the thought was immediately driven from his mind as he saw Rosemary with their daughter. It was amazing how she could make him really happy and at ease even when the entire world was going to come crashing at his feet. Despite everything she would stay by his side... That was more than he could say about his wife. He still loved Nora, but it was their problems that had driven him into the arms of another woman and her coldness that kept him shut out.
