She nodded thoughtfully at the question. "I suppose so. I like to get my day started early so I have time to be productive once I get home." "Are you normally a morning person as well?" she asked. It certainly didn't seem like it, but yawns could be deceiving.

Pem laughed at herself. "I once upon a time used to love mornings. I always got up early to make a cup of tea and watch the sun rise." Those were the good days. Now all Pem felt like she was doing was working, working, working, working. Which was entirely true thanks to one Mr. Perkins. "My husband has decided to expand the family dairy farm at the same time he wants to plan to open a summer camp." Pem explained as she sat down at her desk. Taking a deep breath Pem realized she was on the verge of rambling on about all the workings of the farm and that she didn't want to subject Juniper to listening to all that.

"Pardon me. My mouth is going on and I'm sure you don't want to hear about our farm." Pem apologized to Juniper. "Do you have any hobbies?" Pem asked, interested in Juniper. "I love gardening." She smiled in response to her own question.
