Kitty started feeling guilty after awhile of sitting in the back cars with no one to talk to. In less than two hours the train would be stopping and she would be going home, not to see her friends again until next term. Every moment that passed by with just her staring out the window was a moment that she could have been talking to someone. It didn't matter to her which friend it was, just so long as she spent the last little time she had left with someone.
Leaving her luggage in the car, Kitty stood and exited her car to try to find someone she knew. She walked past all the cars in the back and soon found herself going through the middle cars. At last she came to one with people she recognized. This compartment had Haddie, Elsa, and Mel - along with a Gryffindor girl (Ava) who she didn't know and another Gryffindor she didn't know (Torrence) and a Ravenclaw (Stefan) standing in the entryway. Sliding up next to them, she peered into the compartment. "Hey guys! Mind if I join you for a moment? I can sit on the floor." She also smiled at the Gryffindor boy before sitting on the floor, since the chairs were almost completely full and she didn't want to intrude.
