Now that was a new way to say 'cheese'. Esme giggled as she waited for the phot to develop but fortunately it only took moments to do so. As they waited, she returned her attention to Hagan, giving him some more ear scratches. "I wish I had my own camera. I usually use my mom's." Maybe she would ask for one for her birthday but she wasn't too sure yet. There WERE a lot of pretty things around here to photograph, so it probably was worth it... "Aha! It's done" Pleased she looked it over. Time for her to try out the spell.

Grabbing her wand she gave the photo a firm tap. "Alacer."

IT WORKED.

That made her a lot happier than thinking about Professors she missed. Esme wondered why Professors Cassie and York had to leave but she knew that the time had come for them and there were other things going on with their lives. She could respect that even if she didn't LIKE it. "Oh, so I guess you can thank her for you two getting together." It was wonderful how things turned out; the world worked in mysterious ways. "So how far have you guys come in your training? How exactly do you practice to become an Animagus?" This was a subject that interested her - how could it not? The thought of turning into an ANIMAL. It was incredible. "I don't see the point in rushing. Life is meant to be enjoyed." She smiled. Not to say that she moved as slow as a snail, but yeah.

Talking to the Professor seemed to be the best course of action. "I hope he likes the idea. He always seems... grumpy to me." Did he even like Hufflepuffs? Sometimes she wondered...
