Genny strolled out of the castle, away from all the books and confining walls to open space where no one would hear you if you scream. She rolled her feet down the small hill leading to the Lake. That was until her eyes caught the giant treehouse. It's been months since she'd been here, but Genny still missed her own treehouse dearly. She wrote to her dad every week telling him how to take good care of it. He insisted on joking about pirates, Genny would roll her eyes and go along with it just to please him. She wasn't that young, she knew pirates were only at sea... looking for Peter Pan.
Reaching the bottom of the treehouse, she looked up as the rope ladder fell down on her head. "Ow!" on her HEAD. |
