Lunch was a good a time as any to have a visit without thinking too much about work or worrying about children, and being a nice day, she thought they could head out of doors. Working as hard as she had been with the youth games, Mariel needed to get out of the office and what she remembered of Juni, she was sure she could appreciate the park. She had been quite the tree hugger the last she knew.

Carrying her packed lunch and coffee, the 34 year old headed to the park on her extended lunch break. Finding a suitable bench near the pond, she took a seat and waited for her company to arrive as well.
Ah, the great outdoors! Juniper appreciated every breath she took on her way to the park. She did not think she would ever get used to working inside all day every day. Even if she was still in the greenhouses fairly often, they were still indoors, and it was a big change from the last time she'd had a regular job, when most of her days had been spent traipsing through rainforest or studying the samples they had gathered. Living in a big city like London was wonderful and all, but she still missed living among nature.

She was actually surprised she hadn't been to this park sooner. She hadn't really explored the areas around the Ministry much, but when her old classmate Mariel had suggested a picnic in the park, Juniper had been thrilled. She didn't remember much about Mariel other than her being sprightly and pretty good at Quidditch, but the park meeting place itself made her glad she had reached out.

Juniper pursed her lips as she reached the pond and looked around. Where was Mariel exactly? Oh! There! On a bench! Juniper breathed a sigh of relief and waved to the other woman as she approached. Juniper had barely recognized her. "Hello, Mariel! You look well!"
