Crossing his legs, the dragonologist brought the cup to his lips once more and eyed the newcomer. "Do you come here often?" He was curious, obviously. He seemed to be so acquainted with this place that he had to check if there was black magic on his chair, like...it was most likely cursed or something.
So far, he was feeling okay. His chair was safe, thank Merlin. After sitting comfortably on his chair, Thomas retrieved a small black pouch from the inside of his jacket and opened it carefully, retrieving a deformed mug. He tapped the mug twice and a stream of hot coffee poured from the tip of his wand. Thomas breathed the aromatic vapor arising from his drink with a content, but discreet, sigh. Coffee was love.
He acknowledged that the other person in the room talked to him, but he allowed himself to finish his ritual before answering the man's question with a curious smirk "I do, I actually work on this level." he leaned back on his chair bringing his cup to his lips and taking a sip. "How about you? I'm not sure I've seen you around here" he realized then that him walking around the room, picking out a chair and checking for dark magic might have looked.. curious to him. But, he didn't know these chairs had glued together bottoms in the past - the sick notion of a prank. Ungluing bottoms was not a funny thing.
