He immediately regretted having cast this spell at Haddie in the opening duel.
Jaemin hadn't had a chance to throw up his shield this time. The hex had come on the tail of his rope missing her, and while he had thrown up his left arm to protect his face... it hurt. The stinging welts went all the way up his left arm, from his hand to nearly his shoulder; the first year let out a pained yelp and pressed the arm tight against his chest, curling a bit around it.
"M-Melofors!" he managed, slashing the spell out at her with his good arm before backing up. He was lucky the spell came out as strongly as it did, because it was still pretty new to him... but the aching in his arm seemed to immediately put him into overdrive.
