 Constant Vigilance! O_O AWAKE!
Juniper strolled over to her work station and dumped her bag on the chair. Sure, chairs were for sitting, but she had trouble focusing in these chairs. They were just too cushy and comfortable. She tucked her curly hair into a loose ponytail and pulled out the inventory sheet she had prepared the day before. She needed to make sure nothing was missing. Or order more supplies if they had run out of gloves or something.
Before getting started Juniper peered around the desks area to see if any of her coworkers were around to greet. She really wanted to try to be polite, at least. Nope. Either she was the first one here today, or everyone was in the greenhouses. That was just fine with her. Small talk required a lot of effort this early in the morning.
Leaning slightly against the desk, Juniper settled the sheet on a clipboard. Clipboards really did help with the whole "work while standing" thing. Now to go through the actual numbers of things. Hooray for lists. |
