This was not in the manner she had hoped.
Despite her brevity and momentary admiration for the young boy, Nana found herself unamused. He was s nonchalant, so unrepentantly calm and unmoved. It was impossibly evident as the Ravenclaw boy stared up at her that he in no way felt even a bit of shame for defacing school property. It was ruffling her feathers. "Are you intending to remove that?" Nana calmly asked, arms crossed over her chest. She glanced from the Ravenclaw to the statue and back, her meaning quite obvious. She was giving him a chance, Nana sincerely hoped he would be clever enough to take it. He had stepped away, clearing the immediate danger zone of potential germs, but Daxton still felt that every second he stood in this professor's presence raised the odds of his getting sick. And, being that he kept a great distance between himself and the Healer at all times, if he were to get sick, there would be no choice but to suffer through it. Then he would be even more bored.
There was not much time to ruminate on this, however, because she was still speaking to him. That was good, Daxton supposed. Though social interaction was astoundingly low on his list of priorities, it sometimes helped to break up the monotony of the day, particularly when the potential for ticking someone off was high. He thought he might have managed it now, and that almost made him feel the first stirrings of satisfaction.
Daxton simply looked at the professor for a moment, briefly recalling the classes of hers he had attended, though never really participated in aside from attempting the spell non-verbally and then resolving to try on his own later. There was only so much he could do when speaking was out of the question.
Having looked the professor up and down, Daxton gave a simple shake of the head. An honest answer, this time free of attitude, though it could be difficult to tell with his often emotionless affect and phenomenally unconcerned expression. But no, he had not been, and still was not, intending to remove it.
It was art.
