♥Dunkin | Pixie's Precious Pea | kpop goddess | sneaky sounder | forever slytherin♥ China and Chinese myth were among the many things that Jaemin was not really aware of. Like the Japanese stuff in Transfiguration class, things like this were vaguely related to his own heritage in some ways, but still completely and utterly different when it came down to most everything. Still, the small boy tilted his head and continued to staaaaaaare at Draper as he explained the myth, listening intently.
"Stories like that are usually symbolism for other things or lessons that people are supposed to learn..." he murmured after James had finished off his question. They weren't meant to be taken literally. But, he supposed, for the sake of this class they were suspending their disbelief, which was totally fine with him. The small Slytherin chewed on his lip for a moment, staring at James blankly without really seeing him as he considered the question. "Would it be possible for a wizard to put up a sorta... field or something, at the waterfall? And when the fishes jumped through, they'd be transfigured? Because grown up wizards can transfigure loads of stuff, like people into objects and even animals, but animals can't really do magic... right?"
Could animals do magic?? Because if they could, he was totally teaching Sniffler. |
