That was the only thought on Lux's mind as she finally touched the edge of the pool that marked the end of the race. From what she had seen in the water it had been Benny but it had been a little hard to tell. Despite her title as a mermaid she hadn't been blessed with perfect vision while swimming. It was a slight disappointment but something that she could easily live with. Congratulations were in order at any rate. "Way to go," she told her friend while giving him a thumbs up. They had all won at some point or another seeing as she had shared her victory with Hady.
"Yeah! I hope you two aren't tired," she chimed in with a smile, seconding her Snakette Sis' comment. They weren't going to back out, were they? Swimming could be very tiring so she would definitely understand if they decided to call it a day. Maybe she had more energy than Adi after all. Hehe. |
