For once, everything had gone smoothly that morning. Well, aside from someone having slept late and left their glasses behind, but Amethyst felt like it was better to do her own job before she took a trip down to deliver them. She just had to hope he survived until lunch or whenever the first chance she could get away from Level One happened to be. Especially as the first thing on her plate seemed to be a level-wide meeting, which as always piqued her curiosity. There had been the orientation to learn about the new employees, but things were always different once they were in the Ministry proper.

Either way, she had stopped by her desk to drop off her things before she had headed to the conference room. Whether she was first to arrive or last hadn’t even occurred to her, although she hadn’t seen many others up on their floor as she had arrived. It either meant she was early or everyone was already in the conference room. It appeared to be the former when she arrived at the doorway, however, smiling a little at the teasing going on. She knew that Tiffany’s insistence that she’d meant to be early was an act, by now. She wasn’t about to point that out. “Good morning everyone,” she said instead, slipping inside and choosing a seat at the table.
