Anger bubbled inside the Ravenclaw when Miss Charlotte talked about her face being bashed with a notebook, but the fact that she said it was okay made him HAVE to be okay with it too. "You'd tell me if it wasn't okay, right?" He couldn't have her walking around school all hurt and stuff. And he was sure that she wouldn't want him to write to her mother although he had originally thought about doing that when he wanted to ask her to be his girlfriend. Then his own mother had said that you couldn't ask someone to be your girlfriend if they were already someones girlfriend.

Shaking his head again, Rooney smiled. "No, it's fine. I wanted to help." And it just meant that he had time to make conversation and see her face, especially now that there was make up stuff going on on it. She looked nice. He didn't know if he liked her better with or without it. He just liked her. A whole lot. Did she know that? She knew that. He'd told her, in...not as many words.

"You could do me a favour though?" Yes, yes. This was a good way to move this conversation towards what he wanted. "You know how I like you, yeah? Well..." He shrugged. Man, this was difficult. How did you ask these sorts of questions??
