Kitty held up the three familiars in her palms to show that they were okay. "They are okay, thankfully. With so many students coming up and down the stairs I was worried that someone might step on them and damage them but someone moved them out of the way so they are fine." She smiled when Rachel mentioned having a Jack Russel Terrier. "Dogs are so adorable! I'd love to see Barkley." She never had a dog but she knew that most people did, including her neighbor who had a Pomeranian.
"What lovely names!'' Rachel was impressed by the names chosen for the wriggly creatures. "Elsa and Anna, I assume, are from the movie 'Frozen'.'' Without a doubt he had watched and re-watched the movies countless times. Olaf happened to be her favourite.
She thought over the effects of the Cantis spell. "I think you're absoloutely right. I'm always worried about hurting my friends but this is quite a safe spell. I will definitely use it and I would love for you to show me how to cast it properly.'' Rachel smiled gratefully. "Oh, they're just like other spells. You need to focus and practice before getting them perfect.'' It was obvious that she and Kitty could help each other out a lot in the way of spell work.
"That was awfully nice of that person.'' The younger Eagle examined the familiars a little closer. Yes, they seemed perfectly fine. "Did you name these too?'' She couldn't help but be extremely happy when Kitty showed interest in Barkley. "If I don't get to bring him next term, I can have you over at my house sometime and you can get to meet him then.'' |
