Could she possibly not make eye contact with him so he could finish a thought or a sentence or an hour without becoming a little more in-like with her? Avoiding conversation, something he was rather good at, Rooney offered the stack of parchment and smiled stiffly. His lips were moving nowhere. No speaky, no foot in mouth, no speaky.

"Oh! Chloe has been helping me with make up! And my aunt Ellsworth sent me some free Ellsberry stuff since its her company." Nod. Wait.... did he like it? Did he NOT like it? It made her look OLDER right?? Wasn't that a good thing? BUT then he touched her face and maybe there WAS some actual blushing under the blush on her cheeks. But CHAR would still insist it was just the make up eep! Rooney had touched her FACE. ROONEY BRONWYN had touched HER face!

Ahem. Luckily he soon distracted her. It was the snail mention that did it.

Snails........? She looked down at the stack of parchment and then at him.

"Roo....? How come you thought I needed my homework done for me?" Because she was reminded now and what if he DID think she was dumb? That would be the WORST!
