Haddie's reaction to Professor Newton's reassurances were somewhere between a sigh of relief and a squeak of fear. She gulped audibly and responded to Tenacius's greeting with a nervous little smile. Jaemin also got a nervous smile greeting, as did Mel, Hady, Azura, Ariadne (no hard feelings about losing her hair in the duel see) Kitty, Sammy, Livvy, and Scarlett. Everyone got a nervous smile greeting from Haddie. Rachel didn't need a formal greeting since they were practically sisters and she sat down next to her. Goodbye friends. Haddie was going to miss you all when she died in an hour or so. Did it count as suicide if you didn't mean to kill yourself, you were just doing your potions assignment?
"Professor Newton? Will you see that Asher gets a good home if I don't survive my potion?" This was an important and legit question given her dismal history at both cooking and by extension potioneering. Why did they need to bring their pets then, if they weren't the ones inges.... OOOOOOOOOOOOH! Haddie's eyes went wide with excitement now. "ARE WE MAKING POTIONS TO BECOME ANIMALS!?" This was her dream. Being an animagus was her dream and anything that helped with that or gave her a chance to experience being an animal for a bit while she worked on being an animagus was the greatest assignment ever!
"You!" Haddie whipped around to face Rachel, sticking a very animated and demanding finger obnoxiously in Freckle's face. "You are helping me to successfully brew this thing, no excuses! Got it!?" This would be the most important potions assignment she ever got. And she was not going to fail at it like she had all the other potions.
