 Mischievous Niffler
Even though it had been months since that one disastrous potions lesson where the entire class had been poisoned, Kitty still felt a little bit nervous every time she stepped into the potions classroom. If the professor asked her to drink anything she would flatly refuse.
As a matter of fact, if she had pets then Kitty would have bene very worried right now. Back at home she had a large worm colony consisting of nine worms. Their names were Mystery, Guise, Sabby, Miles, NeeChee, Elsa, Anna, Phantom, and Moonston. Unfortunately worms were not one of the pets listed in the list of pets you could bring to Hogwarts, though Kitty planned to ask permission to bring them next term.
But her cage wasn't empty. Inside were the three clay worm familiars she had made in Transfiguration. The initial magic had worm off a long time ago, but Kitty had reanimated them this morning with a strand of her raven black hair.
She waved to Ariadne, Rachel, Azura, and Hady with her free hand as she passed them on her way to Art's desk, smiling at their cute owls and pygmy puff's (in Rachel's case) at the same time.
The Gothic girl came to a stop at Professor Art's desk. She smiled shyly at him and placed her cage on his desk so he could see her familiars."Morning Professor. Hey Madame Currie. I don't have any pets at Hogwarts, not even an owl. I use the school owls to send messages to my mom back home because she wouldn't let me have one. Back at home I have worms but I didn't know if I was allowed to bring them. So I brought my familiars even though they aren't alive and can't eat or drink anything, so they won't be able to take any potion."
