Genny dropped the friend-choosing nonsense just when Professor Flamsteed mentioned Portkeys. She exchanged excited grins with Sam and sat up in her chair, watching the three beautiful portkeys hover in the air as they were summoned. Choosing was HARD, she loved the hula hoop! Not to mention that her head of house had that and she trusted him the most (even more than the fun headmistress and the nice grandpa-looking Meyers), but the pinata was so colorful she definitely wanted to touch it. The shoe thing was so strange she wanted to get a closer look at it, too.

Fine. Sam chose for them. Genny followed her friend and held on to professor Meyers' portkey, didn't look half as interesting up this close. She didn't have time to think, though, the next thing she knew she was spiraling in space feeling like her stomach was in her mouth.
