The small boy wandered closer to the professor's desk, eyes going this way and that, before he remembered that he was here for a purpose. He turned to look at the professor, arms crossed over his stomach as he gripped his elbows absently.

"I have some questions, professor..." just little ones.
Art closed the door behind the young man, and walked over to his desk. He noticed Mr. Song looking around his office, and gave him some time to do so.

And then the young man came out of his curious state and spoke. Art nodded and gestured to the chair "Sit down if you'd like," he said, whilst he did the same thing. Some questions. Art rested his elbows on the arm rests of his chair, and grasped his hands together. "Sure, sure... uhh Ask-ask away," he said with a smile.

"I've only got a few first year potions memorized," he flushed. "It's too hard to memorize everything. But if I were ever in a sticky situation, it would be good to know how to brew a quick cure for poisons." He didn't expect to need to know it any time soon. Nor did he know what situations required creating potions. But it was nice to have something stored away in his head for future problems.

He let out a chuckle. "It's very strange, though. Exploding potions don't seem that safe, but I would chose that over a duel any day." It was surprising, then, that Austin signed up for the dueling club that was happening in a few weeks. Although that was more for honing his DADA skills, rather than for fun. It really wasn't his idea of fun.

"So, professor, are you looking forward to teaching this term?" He never had to teach a whole class, so he didn't know what one would expect. But he assumed it was nerve wracking.
"W-well even just a few potions memorised is very... very good." He nodded. It was a good quality of a potioneer, being able to remember methods and ingredients from mind. "The more you do a potion, the easier it will get. And before you know it your brain will be full of them! L-like a... a textbook."

Art chortled. "Well... n-no not that safe..." he scratched his cheek. "But much safer than a duel, anyhow. At least we potioneers can brew up a quick remedy for burns and such. Not as much we can do for duelling injuries, I'm sure."

Art's eyebrows raised up towards his hairline, his thinking face. "I am, very much so," he grinned. "I uhh... I used to teach chemistry in a muggle school, so... so it will be good to-to get back into a classroom."
