Impervious charm just in case. Another easy task she could handle. Other questions? Nope. None. "I don't think so right this minute. I'll see you on Monday evening. Thank you, Professor Finch." With one more warm smile she got to her feet and slung the the strap of her bag over her shoulder to take her leave. No sense in taking up anymore of the professors time if everything had been handled.

It was time to get to her next lesson and then get some practicing in.
Ok, great, no questions. Though Ansley was pretty sure there would be plenty once they got started, but there would be time and opportunity to answer them then. He gave her a smile and nod as she thanked him and got to her feet. "You're welcome, Hadleigh. I'll see you Monday." He watched her leave then reached for a book from his bookshelf. Might as well get a little light reading in while he had some time to relax.

Kitty straightened excitedly as he admitted that he did know something about the Tapestry. "Ooh good I was hoping you would!" She dug in her robe pockets for the other newspapers she had brought for him. "One day I was reading Hogwarts a History and three sheets of newsprint fell out. They were articles from the school newspaper many years ago and they were talking about mysterious dark forces behind the Tapestry. Here look I have them with me." And she gave the carefully folded newsprints to the Professor. As he looked at them she continued. "From reading them I realized that there used to be a corridor behind the Tapestry which was something I didn't know before. So after reading them I went to peak behind the Tapestry but there was just wall - which means that it was sealed off!" Kitty's eyes widened excitedly as she went on. "But why would the staff seal off the corridor if it wasn't still dangerous? And the papers never said who was behind the attacks, but it did say the Headmistress at the time knew who they were and what they wanted."

"I've been trying to solve this mystery all year, but no one seems to know anything," continued Kitty. "I asked Professor Kitridge about it and he only asked me what I knew but he didn't say anything, which I thought was really odd. Then in History of Magic I asked Augustus Flume since he's probably been around the castle for a long time, but he didn't know either. Is it classified sir?" She cocked her head curiously as she asked. It it was classified then that would explain why all the grownups she asked didn't seem to know the answer to her questions. She didn't think Professor Ansley wouldn't be mad at her for being curious if it was classified, but she wanted to know the truth.
Ansley looked at Kitty curiously as she reached into her robes and he glanced at the newspaper clipping she pulled out as she spoke about them. He allowed her to finish speaking, nodding here and there, then grew silent as he took a few minutes to read the articles. He didn't know the full story, but he knew enough as it was a pretty eventful part of fairly recent history.

"This happened about forty years ago," he began once he was finished. "Did your grandparents go to Hogwarts? They might remember some of this if they were here. I'm not sure what Mr. Kitridge would know..." It was a little before his time, though he'd expect him to know something about it. "And I know the portrait of Augustus Flume might have been around the castle a long time, but he's just that - a portrait. I can't see him being all that concerned with things that don't really affect him." And the actual person had been around much earlier in history.

"I can tell you what I know about it though," he said, handing the articles back to her. "The tapestry once guarded a very powerful book called the Book of Mysteria. There was a secret room behind it and the tapestry had magic that served as a deterrent - it actually froze people. There were also several deaths surrounding the book, though I don't think that had to do with the tapestry specifically.." Not directly anyway. He waited for Kitty to absorb that information and if she had further questions which he was sure she would as he left it a bit open.
