That was so fun. Really short lived though, which is the only down side to it. And yeah I landed on the ground, not quite as hardcore as a dining table." But that wouldve been a HILARIOUS sight. To which Tenacius is laughing his bum off -- just not in front of Haddie right now. She was starting to look like she swallowed a canary and wants to lurch. But she's a first time broom flyer "Just relax, it'll be cool, nice and slow, probably have more stability on a broom." he glanced at her broom "Hopefully." See this makes a good case why firsties should be allowed to bring their own brooms. But yeah before he can answer her question, she gets dragged off. Ah well, maybe she can see the answer to that when they're up in the skies....

But now it was time to bond with the broom. The leonine lad looked skeptically at the scraggy bundle of sticks in his hand before dropping it to the ground. Rubbing his hands together, he puffed a warm breath on his hand before hovering it above the broom and commanded "Up!"
The broom rolled away a few inches. Is this thing avoiding him??
"Dude you are seriously NOT making me look bad right now." Tenacius murmured annoyed and impatient. He crouched lower and continued murmuring "Look I'm sorry if I think you're ugly..." because its true "... But we gotta help each other out here ok? I have to work with you and you have to work with me and it would be in your best interest for me to not use this moment as a solid case to bring in our own brooms and basically putting you and your buddies outta work. Capisce?"
He straightened up, confident that doing the dad-thing would work with difficult people, or things in this situation. "Up!"
And up went the broom into his outstretched hand, but not before kick-slapping his wrist with its wooden shaft.
