Peachy keen, eh? Jace nodded, and looked over his shoulder to where Melbourne stood. He caught her greeting, and gave her a friendly wave as well, “Hi, Melbourne!” Sighing, he turned his attention back to Torrance, “It’s a good thing I layered up today. I figured the skies wouldn’t be too friendly...temperature wise.” He said making a face. He didn’t like the cold at all, but what can he do? An amused stare was given to Torrance though, when the Gryffindor mentioned about flying without a broom. “You’d have to turn into a transfiguring potion then...turn yourself into a bird or something similar. Or maybe you could ask Ichihara-sensei about self-transformation.” Oh yes, Jace did give him a sound and plausible ways to fly without a broom.

“Oh, I was part of the novice group...the one that had zero experience in flying. I’m glad I said yes to participate in it two years ago. At least I won’t look as clueless as...say, those who aren’t allowed to fly until today.” He’d have to thank his papa for it. Didn’t he say that education is a very good investment? He ought to listen to his old man more, yeah?

Jace pulled Torrance’s sleeve and pulled him to where the brooms where. Along the way, he passed by Ariadne and gave her a wave, “Hi Ariadne! Come on let’s get our brooms.” As he passed by the Slytherin, he saw Azura. Jace felt uncomfortable seeing her like that. He also felt...betrayed in a way because it seemed it’s his entire fault for her to be in such state when he was just being honest.

Jace turned to see another boy introduce himself to him. The Ravenclaw shook his head, but smiled at the friendly face. “It’s nice to meet you Tenacius,” he turned to Torrance again and chuckled. “Unfortunate indeed.” He added, “Have you thought of using the Silencing charm on him? He’d be a good practise dummy.” Just...don’t make it permanent, Ace. Flying though? “I am now!” How can he not be pumped when he’s got friends around to fly with?

The Ravenclaw then picked up a broom, and stood as far away from Azura as possible. He knew she hated him for being honest, and that it is entirely his fault why she’s being miserable. The Ravenclaw diverted his eyes away from her, and stood by his friends who actually appreciates him for his friendship and his honesty.
