~ Mrs. Steve Harrington ~ It be like that sometimes. Rachel looked around as Haddie joined her. "That took you long enough,'' she said with a slight smile then turned her attention back to the dummy. But not before Haddie had offered her some advice. "I know. Ilia told me the same thing. You know how difficult it is for me to demand anything.'' At the suggestion, however, she brightened up. "That's a great idea. I just need to get into your character.'' How could she do this? The girl cleared her throat. "Skurge,'' she commanded in her best Haddie- like voice and with some force as she did the wand movement. More green sparks flew from her wand. It wasn't enough to force the dummy back but certainly enough more than the first time. "Thank you, Haddie! That helped.'' In her mounting excitement, she gave her best friend a hug.
Smiling at her progress, Rachel paused to watch the other girl try out the spell. Her brown eyes widened in shock at what happened next. All she knew was that suddenly Haddie was sitting on the floor and her nose was bleeding. ''Haddie!'' She flung herself on her knees beside her. "Is it broken?'' They did not need Haddie to become Azura. But her friend was already repairing the damage and Rachel breathed a sigh of relief.
All of a sudden that smile vanished as Peeves appeared. Oh no! Paint was bound to be thrown on the students. She followed Mel's and Kitty's lead by aiming her wand in the poltergeist's direction. "Skurge!'' She really commanded that incantation causing her wand to release more sparks than her previous attempts. With her other hand, he was attempting to pull Haddie to her feet. |
