I love my hair and I'm not going to keep cutting it off, and no way I'm going to start spitting on my beautiful worms." She sighed, but then her eyes widened as she caught sight of something on one of the flights of chairs. "Ooh Rachel look!" She pointed down two flights of chairs. "There my lovelies are right there!" All three of her clay worms were laying in a corner on one of the moving stairs. Perhaps they fallen out of her pockets and some student walking by had put them in a pile in the corner over there. "Accio Familiars!" While she waited for the spell to work she turned to Rachel and asked curiously, "What was your familiar? Do you still have it around?"
Oh. Now Rachel fully understood. "Mine wore off too even though we used tears. I had hoped that the magic would have lasted a little longer because the Professor said that tears were the strongest.'' She nodded. "I wish that too. I've tried researching to find out if it could be everlasting but I found nothing.''
Rachel inclined her head over the side of the rail to peer down to where Kitty was indicating. "Lovely! I'm glad you found them. Now if only this staircase would deposit us to the right floor, we could nip over to that particular flight of stairs.'' She gave a questioning look at the stair she and Kitty were presently standing on as though hoping for it listen to her request.
Would the Summoning Charm work? The girl peered over to the side again to check. "Oh, it was an Eagle. I made it to symbolise Ravenclaw. I do have it but it's in my dorm. I didn't put the spell back on it since class, though. You know, you should get some real worms if you like them so much.'' She had no inkling that Kitty already had some at home. |
