Just to show up at the Ministry at this time." Chloe purposefully left out where she was hired for, because this woman, well, who knew if she could be trusted? Unless she WAS Lynley?

She was looking for Lynley.

Of COURSE she was.

It was a good thing for her that she was with Gabby who was familiar with the department and knew Lynley quite well. She was friends with the bosslady and everything. "Well, she's probably in her office." Or maybe? Honestly she didn't really know since there would be a meeting to go over new developments and assignments. Maybe Lynley was elsewhere and getting the last few things together for it.

"What division do you work in?"
