Chloe was not really prepared, like at all, for this duel. In her mind this club served one purpose and it was to be near/around Hirsch. And so this duel only served to peak her anxiety levels and make her feel silly. She didn't like being made to look dumb.
BUT, because she was so preoccupied, she wasn't doing very well...at anything. Including casting her own spells.
The sheer force of wind from her spell blew her back and then, as she was uneven in her footing, she stumbled into Blaise's next spell.
Stumbling, stumbling, stumbling until she was stuck. Her shoes to the ground. And she could not stop the momentum of her previous stumbling so she fell. With her feet stuck to the ground. Which meant she landed in a weird direction. Which led to her slipping out of her shoes but falling flat on her face.
With no finesse, no real motivation, she lifted her wand from the floor and shot purple firecrackers from her wand. She couldn't tell if her spell landed her target. But she was going to stay on the floor now and die of embarrassment, okay?
