Thermos of coffee in hand, Gabby stepped out of the elevator and into the entrance area for Level Six.

It was another day of work and hopefully everyone new to the department was competent. She couldn't deal with people who didn't have any idea what they were doing and it honestly boggled her mind how some people actually managed to get hired. Lynley wasn't stupid though; surely she wouldn't make poor decisions when it came to employees. The fact that she had just received a promotion was proof of this.

A young woman who looked to be straight out of Hogwarts was standing in the middle of nowhere and looking completely lost. "Can I help you?" Seemed that she was new to the department unless she was waiting for someone but why would she be doing that first thing in the morning?
