She wasn't late...it just so happened that Alexa wasn't as early as she could possibly be. Nothing so wrong with that. By her watch, if she could catch the next lift, she would be right on time to clock in. Might even swing by Legend's desk to give him the impression she'd been there the whole time. Yes, it was a brilliant plan, now if only all these people would MOVE.

Of all the mornings for there to be a crowd in this place. Merlin!

Granted, there always seemed to be a crowd around this time of the morning, but usually she would have already BEEN on the job and patrolling. As a last resort...perhaps she might have to say she thought something was happening and simply couldn't head to Level 2 just to come back to the Atrium to investigate. Sure she'd have to make up an entire story to accompany that excuse but sometimes sacrifices had to be made.

One such sacrifice was...'accidentally' bumping people to get out of her way. This wasn't as easy as it looked, okay??? Her shoulders would be sore by the time she hit the office.
