Ariadne turned toward the water in haste, anxious to get started, but then paused again. Last time she'd done this, she'd forgotten a key step. MAJOR key step. Had she forgotten anything else? Jar? Check! Filled jar? Check! Wand? Check! Flying seahorses? NOPE. She had everything BUT the flying seahorses, which meant she was now ready to go fishing!

AWESOME! This was going to be SUPER COOL!

Jar in one hand and her wand in the other, Ariadne turned completely toward the lake. She very quickly reviewed the incantation and wand movement in her head. Okay, OKAYYY, she had it! All of it! She aimed her wand toward the lake then began the steps.

"Carpe Retractum!" she called out, and she gave her wand a nice whip.

She held her breath as she waited for the flying seahorse to come sailing toward her. COME ON, SEAHORSE!!! The water gave a ripple, and out popped a flying seahorse...only, it wasn't a flying seahorse. SPLAT. Seaweed hit Ariadne in the face and plastered all over her eyes, nose, and mouth.

"EWWWW!" she said, pulling the seaweed off. SeaHORSE, not seaWEED! Merlin, LAKE, get it right! Yes. It was all the lake's fault.
