| Post 2, main activity Shoe!Girl │ Rebel Ravie │ Confundus Queen │ RP Addict Now that she had a jar full of water, Brooklyn had a decision to make. Did she really want to deal with fishing for her own seahorses, or did she want to find someone willing to do it for her? Except, as she’d watched the others who had already begun casting the spell, the former seemed the better decision. At least she could have confidence in her own abilities, since it didn’t seem like there was much reason to be confident in anyone else’s. She highly doubted she could talk Professor Draper into fishing for her. As the professor, she figured he, at least, would be relatively successful.
Approaching the water’s edge, she stood at a safe distance from the water so as not to risk falling in, before she set her jar down by her feet. She wasn’t going to accomplish anything while still holding the jar. Taking her wand out, she took a breath to center herself. “Carpe Retractum,” she cast, flicking her wand toward the lake in the familiar whip-like movement. Now she just had to wait.
