Well of course, she hadn't been just expecting him to just take the eye pain spell. She should have shot two spells at him because the chance of actually getting him hit with one of them might have been successful. But no, he had to go and put up a shield charm to deflect her own spell back at her. Thinking quick, she ducked to the ground to let the spell fly overhead and dissipate into nothingness. Last thing she needed was to be blinded.

Ducking down was enough to concentrate on more curses to use against Dmitriy. "Everte Statum!" she cast, raising her wand up from the ground, and for good measure and also kind of because it'd be funny, she threw in a Ears to Kumquats curse followed immediately with the Jelly-Fingers Curse.

She just hoped they'd be effective this time. But surely he couldn't block everything, right?
