Not only had the hot air dried her nicely, but it had left her robes nice and toasty warm. Grinning, Haddie aimed her wand at Rachel, letting the other girl enjoy the hot-air before finally saying, "finite." The hot air stopped blowing out of her Kira. "No idea if we're supposed to wait for them to fly or not... do they really fly? Or do they just jump out of the water like flying fish?" She shrugged, and watched Rachel try to cast the spell. "See, this is why I practiced it for real before. Don't worry, you'll get it." Sure enough, Rachel got it. "See, told you so." Haddie gave her best friend a smirk and aimed her wand at the lake. "Carpe Retractum!" "I had the idea that they may jump out like Flying fish but I've never seen any of them doing this at any time I came down to the Lake so I think we have to do this as though were are actually fishing.'' Rachel smiled at the encouragement. She giggled. "Professor Draper might had thrown me out of the lesson if he saw me do that.''
The dark haired Eagle stared out at the Lake, watching and waiting patiently for a seahorse to be attracted to her rope. She hoped to feel the pull on the other end soon as she dearly wanted to catch at least one of the creatures. "I wonder how long it usually takes to capture one. I've never been fishing before so I don't know much about it,'' she informed Haddie.
The seconds turned into minutes and still she felt no tug. Rachel was just starting to think that no seahorses were coming when she felt her magical rope a tad heavier on the other end as though it had wrapped itself around something. "Haddie, I think I've got something!'' She started to pull it in, filled with excitement. But as the rope came in closer, her excitement evaporated. "It's only a clump of seaweed.'' |
