Well, if Professor Draper wanted to be his usual grumpy pants self that wasn't Esme's problem. So far he hadn't said anything to HER but he had reminded someone else not to repeat answers. Was it so bad that some people - like her - mentioned something said by another classmate? People got enthusiastic about creatures that they liked.
The topic changed its focus to lake dwelling creatures and she had quite a bit to say on the matter but it seemed that some of her classmates had jumped to it before she could.
