Her second year of dueling club. Which meant that Hady knew the basics and had what to somewhat expect. It was the first duel of this term though and against someone she had spoken to a handful of times over the last couple of terms. He was a nice guy but that didn't at all mean she would be going easy on him and she hoped he felt the same way about this.

Dressed in her dueling robes, hair tied back into a tight braid so it was off her face Hady glanced around the area. Walking towards the center she faced her opponent. "Hello Austin," Hadleigh greeted with a light smile as she bowed towards him. Yeah, proper etiquette and all that good stuff. Totally had that down.

Just as quickly as the smile had formed on her lips it was gone and replaced with a blank expression as she took several steps backwards, a light flick of her wrist and the cool smooth wood of her wand in her hand. Flexing her fingers around her wand she pointed it towards Austin quickly beginning their match. "Incarcerous!," she cast preforming the movement for the charm following it quickly with a softer, "Obscuro" for added measure.

The second her second spell was cast Hady began to move from her stance taking steps to the left, backwards, forwards and to the right. Sorry but not sorry, she wouldn't be just standing around and making herself an easy target.
