There were worst things he could be called. "Well, there are a couple of joints to eat at...depending on what you feel like. That place over there," he said, indicating Madame Puddifoot's. "...is apparently the go-to date location." Which was why he never stepped foot in there before. "Tea and cakes and all that."
He could personally go for something warm, but could do without the sappy romantic atmosphere unless she was game. It was a win-win for him either way.
