"We have to go to level four. That's where my common room is!" Kitty stood up excitedly and waited for Esme so they could go to level four. Esme watched as Kitty worked out the math for the first clue. The answer was four... so that meant that they had to go to the fourth floor, right? Hopefully. That was the way that she had understood the exercise.
"Maybe it's by the library," she said as she gathered up her notebook, textbook, and pencil. Best to not forget those since they would be necessary in order to work out the next puzzles. At this rate they would definitely be free from homework and that was always a plus in Esme's book since she would rather do other things with her time.
That sorted, she headed out the door with Kitty.
