One thing Kendall had never worried about was first impressions. The petite girl with the pink/auburn hair from Hogwarts had just turned into a young woman. A mother, although her parents were watching everyone while she was at the orientation. Aside from that, she hadn't changed. Still quirky to say the least, when people got her started. There were other terms that could be attributed to her instead, but she didn't care.
Nibbling on a piece of chocolate that hadn't come from the buffet, she'd wandered over toward the bingo tables, snagging a card at nearly the same time an older man had addressed a second older man. At least, she assumed they were older. "You're new too?," she interjected, just out of curiosity. She'd barely looked at the card in her hand, not when things that were more interesting were going on.
