| Post 2 (impaired brewer) Shoe!Girl │ Rebel Ravie │ Confundus Queen │ RP Addict It hadn’t skipped Brooklyn’s notice that Hady had been watching her once she’d taken the antidote. Even with how horrible she felt, not to mention the weird fog that was still obscuring her sight mostly, she still knew when there were eyes on her. The only thing keeping her going right now was determination, and a desire to prove she still had her potions skills. She was still thankful that there wasn’t any knife work involved today. While she refused to believe she’d accidentally cut herself, the way she was feeling now tested that belief. It was easier to just depend on her determination o get her through this, especially since she couldn’t exactly brew in the curled up position she’d been in before.
No, she’d have to be strong, and ignore the smells that were getting stronger now that they weren’t muffled by her knees. At least she didn’t have to drink the poison again. Plus, Hady had reacted to it much like she had, however hazy her view of her partner was. The facial expression still came through well enough. “I’ll get this done soon,” she said softly, having to glance around a few seconds longer than normal before she found her mortar and pestle. She still felt like the world was spinning, too, but somehow she got water into her cauldron after a quick Scourgify, and she dropped the bezoar into the mortar after another Scourgify. Clean equipment was good. Now she’d just have to crush the stone, which proved harder than she’d expected with her head spinning. Determination, she reminded herself silently, slowly. She’d take as long as it took to crush the bezoar.
