Michele is tall and rather willowy, with long, wavy black hair that reaches halfway down her back when it is left down. She has a tendency to wear it up, both for style purposes and because it gets in her way less that way. She greatly enjoys fashion but makes sure to dress office-appropriately when she is on the job; she always has shoes to match her outfit, and she doesn't really care if they make her even taller than she already is.

A woman enamoured with languages, Michele still somehow manages to be the type of person who keeps to herself. She's very capable of being social - she excels at conversation, as a person in her position rightly should - but she reveals very little of her actual self to those around her. Despite being very guarded about her personal information (right down to her address, which she reveals to nobody but those who have good reason to know it), Michele is nonetheless very kind. She has no qualms when it comes to helping those who need it, whether it requires a few pulled strings or a pulled wand. Michele speaks softly, but that does not mean she is in any way soft or shy; she is a very determined person, and will use everything she knows to get what she wants. She also has a very strong sense of right and wrong, and is not above offering to use a permanent sticking charm to stick someone to the wall if she feels they're out of line.

Born in Villenave-d'Ornon in 2052, Michele is the youngest of three daughters in her family. Her childhood was rather uneventful; she attended Beauxbatons and did well in most of her classes (she had a distinct disdain for Magical Creature Study and Divination, which showed a bit in the fact that her grades in those were just a tad bit lower than the rest of the subjects she pursued); she was very involved in the Student Dueling Organisation, and was one of the Student Leaders in her later years. Upon her graduation in 2070 she was accepted into La Belle Magique University; she pursued a degree in International Wizarding Relations with a minor in International Magical Law, and graduated with honours in 2075.

After her graduation from University, Michele was hired as an analyst in the French Ministry; she worked her way through a few departments before meeting a higher-level French politician named Rhys Guillory, who expressed interest in hiring her as his personal assistant. The pay was much higher and the job was much more interesting, so she left her position in her department in 2082. While she found it bothersome that she was constantly referred to as "the pretty assistant" by the people she interacted with on her boss's behalf, her new job presented her with the challenges she needed to feel fulfilled in her job.

Michele was content to work for Rhys and would have stayed on as his assistant for a much longer time, but unfortunately a personal issue began to unfold in the spring of 2087, which made it difficult for her to continue doing her job to the best of her ability. She tried very hard to make it work, but the situation escalated and in March of 2088 she submitted her resignation to Rhys personally before disappearing. She resurfaced quietly in London; knowing of her situation and wanting to help as he was very fond of her, Rhys had been kind enough to set her up with a place to live and a few months worth of grocery deliveries.

Michele did not leave her apartment very often during the first few months she lived in London, and was without a job until she felt comfortable enough to venture out. Submitting applications at various places did not yield jobs that she felt would challenge her or bring her any type of satisfaction; it wasn't until a few months later that she decided to place an application as the Ministry of Magic, having tired of working in a shop in downtown London.
