This Ravenclaw was a perceptive one and could easily tell that the antidotes were 1. not well-brewed (perhaps the class was full of bad brewers, and the recipe could have been ineffective?), or 2. working extremely slowly. He trusted Penelope, but there was no way he was falling for this and drinking that stuff up, even if a professor said to do so. Cynicism was a thing here.
So when nobody was looking, Dima slipped off his shoe and poured the cup of poison into the heel of it. Totally drank that. Yeah.
Was he supposed to pretend the potion was taking its toll now? Err....
