The professor wouldn't let anything happen to us but you can't leave"
Elliot made sure Jay was propped against the chair and the table (to keep him from flopping onto the floor like grindylow out of water ok!) before heading up to the professor's desk to take his own small sample of not-poison. "Well bottom's up!" Elliot downed the small bit of poison and made a face. Did no one else taste this?
Ohhhhhhh it was gross IT WAS GROSS!
The small Slytherin kicked his legs rather weakly when Elliot poured the antidote potion into his mouth, whining and swallowing as he wrinkled his nose. It did not taste good and it did nothing to make him less aware that something was very wrong in the whole entire world. Everything around him still looked strange, and everyone around him was starting to look like they were funhouse mirror reflections.
Was he gonna die?! Nobody was gonna let him really die, right?!
He clung onto Elliot when the other boy pulled him up, still blinking rather rapidly; his stomach gave an angry twist, and he curled up on his seat when the tall boy pushed him back onto it. This was the worst, and he still had to go.
He barely noticed when Elliot left. He was too focused on how hot the work station felt against his forehead, which was now pressed against it as he whined to himself. Nothing was happening... why wasn't the stuff making him better? Did Elliot mess it up?! Surely he hadn't... he had seemed so confident about it! Jaemin squeezed his eyes shut and held onto the wobbling, shaking, absolutely moving way too much please stop that tabletop. He just had to wait a little more, right? And then it would work?
Because there was no way he was gonna be able to brew a potion like this. |
