Noelle had been perched against the barn, studying History of Magic. The chill air was keeping her awake because studying history was not her favorite thing to do. But she HAD to. She had a lot of catching up to do.

She was reading a paragraph for the fourth time when she heard a giggle. And then a voice. Noelle peeked around the side of the barn and saw Rachel playing with a crup. She watched a few moments before putting her book aside and jumping up.

Noelle cautiously entered where they could see her and gave a small smile to Rachel. "Hey, whose this?" She asked bending down and whistling for the crup.
